Local Legal Support Initiative (LLSI) Information
For nearly a decade, L4GG has mobilized a network of more than 125,000 volunteer attorneys and advocates to provide pro bono support nationwide. Now, we’re bringing that same network directly to Colorado communities through LLSI.
LLSI provides the following support:
One-on-one legal consultations with a pro bono attorney
Compliance guidance, templates, and legal documents
Biweekly virtual office hours starting in August 2026
Ongoing webinars through April 2027, hosted by L4GG and our partner organization, Environmental Protection Network
Referrals to technical assistance partners and litigation resources, when needed
Please note: LLSI does not handle litigation directly, but can refer organizations to partners equipped to take that on.
We want to make sure you know this program exists - and that help is available if you or the organizations in your community ever need it. You are also welcome to share this resource with the nonprofits, agencies, and organizations you work with. The more people who know LLSI is here, the more good it can do.
Here’s how to get started:
Join us at Thursday’s (August 27) webinar.
Visit dlg.colorado.gov/local-legal-support-program to learn more and fill out our intake form. We’ll be in touch within 48 hours to set up an intake call.
You’re also welcome to reach out directly with any questions at fpc@l4gg.org.
Thank you for the work you do on behalf of your community. We hope LLSI can be a resource you lean on when it matters most.
