Traci Feit Love is the Founder and Executive Director of Lawyers for Good Government and L4GG Action Fund, which has mobilized thousands of pro bono attorneys delivering more than $15 million worth of legal services in support of progressive causes over the past five years. Traci is one of the nation’s leading experts in designing and scaling remote pro bono programs in partnership with large law firms, in-house legal teams, individual attorneys, and legal services organizations.

 

Jennifer wong

Jennifer Wong is an attorney with the corporate practice of Kelley Drye & Warren, LLP. She has extensive experience advising clients on a wide range of transactional matters and is active in her law firm's pro bono efforts, assisting not-for-profit startups in realizing 501(c)(3) status and operating efficiently. Jennifer graduated from Williams College and obtained her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. She is a member of the New York State Bar and the Illinois State Bar. 

 

Adam S. Cohen
VICE CHAIR, Board of Directors

Adam is a founding member and the Managing Partner of the Law Offices of Cohen & Siegel, PLLC, a private law firm with six offices in the greater New York metropolitan area. For more than twenty years he has primarily represented injured workers and disabled persons in Workers' Compensation and Social Security disability benefits cases. Adam is admitted to the New York State Bar and both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He previously served on the Board of Directors for the Mount Vernon Boys and Girls Club.

 

Ted Jacobs
Treasurer, Board of Directors
L4GG and L4GG Action Fund

Ted Jacobs is a partner at BakerHostetler, where he serves as national lead counsel for the firm’s E-Discovery, Advocacy & Management team and is the co-chair of the New York office’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee. A graduate of Colgate University, Harvard Divinity School and Georgetown University Law Center, Ted has dedicated much of his professional career to the advancement of LGBT equality. In addition to the representation of HIV-positive and LGBT asylum-seekers fleeing persecution in their home countries, Ted has contributed to the fight for marriage equality. Most recently, Ted co-authored two amicus briefs submitted to the Supreme Court of the United States in G.G. v. Gloucester County School Board on behalf of leading corporations and medical associations in support of dignity for transgender persons. Ted also serves on the board of Urban Word NYC.

 

Jacqueline Haberfeld

Jacqueline Haberfeld is Global Program Director and Pro Bono Counsel for Kirkland & Ellis LLP. After starting her career as a criminal defense attorney and then general commercial litigator, Jackie became part of the first wave of professional pro bono counsel, directing the resources of large law firms to public service. Prior to working at Kirkland, Jackie was Special Counsel to the Hon. Fern A. Fisher, Deputy Chief Administrative Judge and Executive Director of the NYS Courts Access to Justice, responsible for court-sponsored pro bono legal services for the City of New York, and Nassau and Suffolk Counties.

DAN OSHEYACK

Dan Osheyack is a marketing strategist and tactical leader with decades of experience driving brand development, philanthropic programming, and cause marketing initiatives for both corporate and nonprofit entities. Dan spearheaded Time Warner Inc.’s leadership role in corporate philanthropy, successfully integrating business goals and social values with far-reaching effects. He was part of the team that launched Entertainment Weekly magazine, helped increase the reach and profitability of People magazine, and, through not-for-profit partnerships, grew awareness for the Real Simple magazine brand. Most recently he served as CMO of the Clinton Global Initiative. During the 1980s and 1990s, Dan worked with Dr. Mathilde Krim and Elizabeth Taylor to raise funds, build corporate partnerships, shape the amfAR message, and increase awareness and understanding of HIV/AIDS. As a brand marketing consultant, Dan's clients include NBCUniversal, WarnerMedia, the Clinton Foundation, the Rubin Museum, Harlem Stage, and the Leslie Lohman Museum. Currently, he writes a monthly column on nonprofit branding for the Joan Garry Nonprofit Leadership Lab.

Rhea Ricard is a Managing Director and Managing Counsel at BNY Mellon, representing the bank as corporate trustee on public and private securities transactions. She also leads pro bono projects within the bank’s Legal Department, sitting on its Global Pro Bono Council as co-chair of the Global Remote Projects Subcommittee. Rhea received her B.A. in political science (minoring in international studies) from Spelman College and her J.D. from the New York University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in California and New York.
