Open Positions

General Counsel

L4GG seeks an experienced, mission-driven General Counsel to join our senior management team as L4GG’s chief legal advisor on all legal matters impacting the organization. This role is ideal for an experienced attorney with a deep understanding of nonprofit law (including compliance, audits, and investigations); contract law; professional responsibility rules, particularly in connection with litigation; and social justice frameworks.

Supervising Attorney, Clean Energy and Project Finance

We’re seeking a supervising attorney with significant experience in project finance to help lead L4GG’s effort to help finance community-driven clean energy and environmental projects, thereby implementing a just transition to the green economy.  This person would help lead the Clean Energy team’s green financing efforts and in assisting hundreds of state agencies, local agencies, green banks, and CBOs looking to identify and leverage green financing options.  This person would report to the Director of Clean Energy.

Law Student Internship, Civil Rights & Health Equity

L4GG’s Civil Rights & Health Equity team is seeking a part‑time law student intern to support research, writing, and advocacy on reproductive justice, bodily autonomy, and health equity.

Interns will assist with legal research, policy tracking, litigation monitoring, and advocacy materials—working closely with staff and partners in a fast‑moving, mission‑driven environment. This is a remote position, with a strong preference for availability during Central Time business hours.

Your Time

Full time employees receive:

  • A flexible, remote work schedule

  • 120 paid time off (PTO) hours and 160 hours after 2 years on a prorated basis throughout the year

    • All regular, part-time employees accrue a prorated amount of vacation leave based on the number of hours worked per week.

  • 64 hours of paid sick leave

    • Part-time employees receive the greater of a prorated portion of that allotment and the number of hours required under applicable state or local law

  • 10 paid holidays per year

  • 5 days of paid bereavement leave

  • Parental/Maternity leave

    • After one year of employment, employees receive 8 weeks of paid parental leave in a twelve-month period, and up to 12 weeks for child-bearing employees for pregnancy, childbirth, and recovery from the effects of childbirth.


Your Health

Group medical, dental and vision:

  • 100% of medical plan premiums and 99% of dental and vision plan premiums for employees

  • 50% for dependents and partners for medical and dental

  • 75% for dependents and partners for vision
