Election Mis/Disinformation Response Network
As we witness an increase in bad actors profiting from disinformation narratives, the weakening of content moderation, and the spread of algorithmically targeted misinformation, voters face growing barriers to accessing verified sources.
As a Election Mis/Disinformation Response Network volunteer, you will help identify election-related misinformation and disinformation before it spreads. The primary objectives of this program are to provide voter support and help combat voter suppression in the lead up to the 2026 midterm elections.
All shifts take place on Tuesdays from 6pm-8pm (EST), with shifts from 6am-8pm on Election Day (November 3, 2026).
The training video below will clarify how you can help stop cyber voter suppression using social media monitoring, digital listening and intervention methods. It covers the following topics:
What voters can expect as they navigate the current information ecosystem.
An overview of the program and the mission.
The different types of Cyber Suppression
What resources will be available to you during your shift as monitors
