Georgia Post-Election Legal Monitors Program

A Partnership between All Voting is Local Georgia and Lawyers for Good Government

What's at stake

Election certification isn't automatic. Before Georgia counties officially certify the November 2026 results, their Boards of Elections hold public meetings — and these are the moments when board members sometimes raise fraud claims, demand irregular documentation, or threaten to withhold certification, despite that being a nondiscretionary legal duty.

Most of these meetings aren't streamed. A monitor in the room helps notify Election Protection if they need to prepare for irregularities.

What we're doing

L4GG and All Voting is Local Georgia are deploying volunteer attorneys to priority county Board of Elections meetings across Georgia on Friday, November 6, 2026 — the day counties complete their pre-certification reviews.

Who can volunteer

Any attorney, law student, or paralegal — regardless of license standing or state of bar admission. You don't need a Georgia law license.

What's involved

  • Sign-up via our interest form below

  • Complete a short asynchronous training

  • After training, choose your county from available meeting slots

  • Attend the meeting, observe, and escalate issues through our trained field team

  • Submit a short report the same day

Most meetings will be routine. Your job is to make sure someone's watching in case they're not.
