L4GG is excited to announce the second event for our virtual book club! On Wednesday, September 20th from 7-8 PM ET, we will host a virtual book talk with Dahlia Lithwich to discuss her NYT best-selling book, Lady Justice: Women, the Law, and the Battle to Save America.” The award-nominated book is a luminous account of the tireless efforts and legal ingenuity of women lawyers during the Trump years, highlighting their relentless fight against injustice and celebrating the often-unrecognized heroes who stood firm in the face of a chaotic and malign presidency.

Dahlia Lithwick is the senior legal correspondent at Slate, a news and politics analyst at MSNBC, and host of Amicus, Slate’s award-winning biweekly podcast about the law. Her work has also appeared in The New York Times, Harper’s Magazine, The New Yorker, The Washington Post, The New Republic, and Commentary, among other places. She won a 2013 National Magazine Award for her columns on the Affordable Care Act. She was inducted into the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in October 2018.
