Move Your Energy or Infrastructure Project
from Conception to Completion

You have a vision for your community: lower energy costs, climate resilience, and sustainable local jobs, but the path from an identified project to an operational one is increasingly complex. Between shifting federal funding landscapes to complex regulations and new tax credit requirements, vital community projects across America are stalling and facing unprecedented obstacles.

You don’t need to navigate these hurdles alone. The cost of legal and financial expertise shouldn’t be the barrier that stops your community from benefiting from the clean energy transition.

We are here to help you move your project forward - completely for free.

For a decade, L4GG has supported clean energy and climate resilience project deployment for communities and local and state governments across the country, and we would be honored to help you get your project across the finish line. We offer four core areas of support. Read through the list below to learn more about our offerings and how to get started.

1. Project Development Support

2. Project Funding Support

  • Do you need support identifying potential funding sources, including tax credits, low-interest loans, rebates, or grants? Our Elective Pay Sprint Hub (EPSH)  helps tax-exempt entities monetize clean energy credits and identify green financing options to fully fund the project. We provide comprehensive legal guidance on tax credit issues including filing, eligibility, compliance, and deadlines. We also work with you to identify potential investors or mission-driven lenders, including Green Banks and CDFIs, to close any funding gap. Learn more and complete the intake form here.

  • Have you experienced an unlawful Environmental Justice or Clean Energy grant termination from the federal government? Our Fund Protection Clinic and Court of Federal Claims Clinic provides the legal analysis and defense needed to move your unlawful termination case forward. 3. Local Benefits Delivery

  • Do you need to secure local buy-in for your project or to ensure that your community’s interests are protected? We help you structure Community Benefits Agreements through our Green & Equitable Communities Clinic to ensure long-term community support.

4. Organizational & Sector Capacity Services

  • Do you want a trusted partner to work with you from start to finish?  Through a combination of our existing services (such as Green & Equitable Communities Clinic and Elective Pay Sprint Hub), we can help you navigate legal, regulatory, financial, and other key issues that may surface for important project milestones from the project planning stage to post-construction.

Your project represents the future of local energy and safety.

Let us provide the legal backbone to make it a reality.
