Washington D.C. – In recognition of the National Celebration of Pro Bono (October 19–25, 2025), Lawyers for Good Government (L4GG), a leading nonprofit organization that mobilizes pro bono legal support for human rights and justice programs, is proud to honor Perkins Coie LLP as a recipient of its 2025 Outstanding Pro Bono Partner Award.
Perkins Coie’s firm-wide commitment to pro bono service sets a high bar for impact. In 2024 alone, 113 attorneys across the firm contributed over 2,000 volunteer hours, valued at more than $1 million in free legal services, in support of L4GG’s initiatives. This remarkable scale of engagement demonstrates the power of a unified firm mission and a deep belief in the role of lawyers as stewards of justice.
““Perkins Coie’s partnership with L4GG reflects an unwavering dedication to fairness, and the rule of law,” said Lauren Worsek, L4GG’s Director of Pro Bono Initiatives. “Their attorneys continually show how the private bar can use its collective expertise to strengthen legal institutions, expand access to justice, and protect the rights of those most in need. This award recognizes not just their hours of service, but the depth of their commitment to justice in action.””
Through research, analysis, and ongoing collaboration, Perkins Coie’s attorneys have provided critical legal insight and strategic support across multiple L4GG programs, helping to advance understanding, equity, and access within the legal system. Their sustained engagement exemplifies how coordinated pro bono work can strengthen communities and uphold the foundations of justice.
“As the legal community celebrates Pro Bono Week, we are thrilled to recognize Perkins Coie for their extraordinary dedication to service and partnership,” added Worsek. “Their leadership and long-term commitment continue to inspire what’s possible when law firms make pro bono work a true cornerstone of their mission.”
